RaiTheGuy07: Hello LL4, thank you for agreeing to this interview with me!

LL4444444444444: Thank you for having me!

RaiTheGuy07: Well, let's get started right away! Can you tell me a bit about your artistic journey? How did you get started?

LL4444444444444: Hmm, at first, I was just looking for a new challenge on here. I looked around and most stuff felt unappealing. I then started with a simple painting, and I remember finishing it; it felt amazing. 

RaiTheGuy07: Would you say that art gives you some sort of spark?

LL4444444444444: A spark?

RaiTheGuy07: A spark of fulfillment, peace, or creativity!

LL4444444444444:  I find a lot of peace; the process of making art is very meditative, and I'm really enjoying it!

RaiTheGuy07: Is there anything that inspires you to create art? 

LL4444444444444:  There's just nothing quite like art, be it IRL or on DC. Sometimes, you walk by a piece of art, and it just captivates you and stays in your mind. I take inspiration from what's around me.

RaiTheGuy07: Wow, being able to do that is an impressive feat that not everyone can do! Can you take us through your process when you're creating art? What preparation do you have, or do you jump right in and improvise?

LL4444444444444:  For me, the most important part is the choice of what I'm going to paint, and this is where I'm most creative. 

RaiTheGuy07: As an art enthusiast, I've seen your amazing pieces of art! Can you tell me the biggest challenges you've faced when making art?

LL4444444444444: Well, there are just some frames sometimes that I wish I wouldn't have to do. For example, the very detailed ones with lots of different colors, but finishing those, in turn, is even more satisfying.

RaiTheGuy07: Do you have any specific style that you paint in? What would you say are the defining characteristics of your art?

LL4444444444444: I like how complex it is to paint in a photorealistic way. I like to make very detailed, large, and various subjects. But in general, if I like the sound of an idea, I'll paint it.

RaiTheGuy07: I know that you are creating the House of Arts; is that your way of engaging with the community?

LL4444444444444: Well, yes, the purpose of the HoA is to connect painters, inspire would-be painters, and give easy access to supplies one would need. I like the idea of bringing people together around a shared interest.

RaiTheGuy07: Do you have any future goals, and what would you give as advice to aspiring artists?

LL4444444444444: My main future goal is one I've actually started manifesting already. I wish to teach more people how to paint. I only recently took on my first student, RspDMcd, and it has been an amazing experience so far. 

RaiTheGuy07: Wow, I can say you're going to be in the past, present, and future of DC art! Well, thank you so much for having this conversation with me!
